Alcohol use disorder treatment built for men

Alcohol is legal, everywhere, and easy to defend — which is exactly why men often arrive here after years of trying to manage it alone. Our program removes the access, then does the clinical work underneath the drinking.

Treatment starts with a mental health and substance use evaluation, then an individualized plan combining individual counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy and group work with other men. Alcoholism education explains what tolerance, withdrawal and post-acute symptoms actually are, so relapse stops feeling like a mystery.

Because many men drink around work, family and community pressure, recovery here includes life skills, employment support, parenting and family repair, and connections to Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Celebrate Recovery meetings in Morgan County and the surrounding area.

We are accredited by CARF, ADOE and BHSO and approved by the Kentucky Department of Corrections, so court-referred and probation-related alcohol placements can be served alongside voluntary admissions.
